Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a Multi Skilled Worker in Sackville to support daily operations in a healthcare setting. You will clean residents' rooms and common areas, assist with food preparation, serve meals, and handle dishwashing, ensuring a safe, efficient kitchen and dining area.

The role requires a valid Food Handler Certificate, and previous housekeeping/food services experience is an asset. Healthcare experience is preferred; ability to work independently and in a team, plus strong

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties including cleaning residents' rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up/cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays, and dishwashing.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, report injuries and hazards to the supervisor, and complete other requests from management.

Job description

How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will:

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About you:

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
