Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Multi Skilled Worker to support daily operations across housekeeping, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing in a care setting.

You will perform duties including keeping resident rooms and common areas clean, assisting with meals, and following health and safety guidelines. A valid Food Handler Certificate and strong English communication are required or preferred, with ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset.
• Previous experience in healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, setup and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
• Perform duties according to health and safety guidelines; report injuries and hazards to the supervisor.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will:

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About you:
