Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a Multi Skilled Worker to support daily operations in a healthcare environment in Mississauga. You will perform housekeeping, assist with food preparation and service, deliver meals, and help maintain kitchen cleanliness.

The role requires a valid Food Handler Certificate, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong English communication. Healthcare experience is valued, and fluency in following safety guidelines is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping or food services experience is an asset.
• Healthcare or long-term care setting experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong command of English, both verbal and written, and ability to follow instructions.

How you will make an impact:

You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will:

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About you:

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
