Job summary

Chartwells is seeking a Multi Skilled Worker to support daily operations in a residential setting. You will perform cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, delivering trays, and dishwashing. You must hold a valid Food Handler Certificate and can work independently or as part of a team.

Experience in cleaning and food services is an asset, and strong English communication is required to follow instructions and ensure safety and quality in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Previous cleaning and food services experience is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong English language skills, verbal and written, with ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining cleanliness of residential common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, setup/cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays, dishwashing.
• Follow health and safety guidelines; report injuries and hazards.

How you will make an impact:

You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparations, serving meals, serving meals, and dishwashing

As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will:

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residential common areas
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards, and all other reasonable requests from management

About You:

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Previous cleaning and food services experience is an asset
• able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of the English Language, both verbal and written with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
