Role Description

The Gas Fitter role at John Mulder Heating Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position located in Chilliwack, BC. In this role, the Gas Fitter installs, maintains, and repairs natural gas and propane systems, including furnaces, boilers, hot water heaters, and related piping and fittings. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, performing safety inspections, testing systems for leaks and proper operation, and ensuring work complies with local codes and regulations. The Gas Fitter interacts with customers on-site, explains work performed, provides basic maintenance guidance, and completes accurate service documentation. Qualifications

• Relevant gas fitting certification or journeyperson status, with authorization to work on natural gas and propane systems in British Columbia.
