Job summary

Avenir Energy Ltd. is seeking a Gasfitter II(B) to lead propane system installation, maintenance, and service across residential and commercial sites in Nova Scotia. The role reports to the Territory Manager and emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include installing tanks and appliances, providing quotes, performing hook-ups, processing orders, and supporting shop activities. Travel may be required; CSA B149 knowledge and a Class 5 license are essential.

Qualifications

• Gasfitter II certification required.
• Liquid propane endorsement an asset or willingness to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of CSA B149 Gas Codes.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Some travel required.

• Provide accurate and detailed quotes to customers and sales.
• Perform safe and accurate propane hook-ups.
• Complete work orders, parts ordering, and invoicing.
• Support shop and operational activities as needed.
