Job summary

Qualifications

• Gas fitting certification or journeyperson status with BC authorization.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing gas appliances and systems.
• Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements for gas systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use diagnostic tools effectively.
• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork; valid BC driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for installations.
• Inspect systems for leaks and ensure proper operation per codes.
• Install, maintain, and repair natural gas and propane systems.
• Explain work performed to customers and provide basic maintenance guidance.
• Document service reports and collaborate with other technicians; respond to after-hours calls.
