Job summary

Avenir Energy Ltd. in Canada is seeking a Gasfitter II(B) to install, maintain, and service propane systems across residential and commercial sites. Reporting to the Territory Manager, you will help ensure safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction while working in a field-based role.

Qualifications

• Gasfitter II certification required.
• Propane endorsement asset or willing to obtain.
• Knowledge of CSA B149 Gas Codes.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and development.
• Some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service propane tanks, appliances, and vaporizers.
• Provide accurate and detailed quotes to customers and sales.
• Perform safe and accurate propane hook-ups.
• Complete work orders, parts ordering, and invoicing.
• Support shop and operational activities as needed.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Territory Manager, the Gasfitter II(B) plays a key role in the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and servicing of propane systems. This position supports Avenir Energy’s commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction across residential and commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service propane tanks, appliances, and vaporizers
• Provide accurate and detailed quotes to customers and sales
• Perform safe and accurate propane hook-ups
• Complete work orders, parts ordering, and invoicing
• Support shop and operational activities as needed

• Liquid propane endorsement an asset or willingness to obtain
