Finning in Alberta is hiring a Gas Compression Tech to service Caterpillar gas and diesel engines in shop and on customer sites. You will troubleshoot, perform field diagnosis, and oversee large-scale overhauls to keep operations running.
The role requires a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification, 2+ years of experience, a valid Class 5 license, and strong communication skills. Travel across Alberta and Northern BC is involved with travel expense coverage.

As a Gas Compression Tech, you’ll put your skills into action by partnering directly with customers to keep their operations running at peak performance. You’ll troubleshoot and oversee repairs on a wide range of Caterpillar gas and diesel engines- both in the shop and out in the field - leveraging your technical knowledge to build trust, solve challenges, and deliver the reliability our customers depend on.
