Job summary

SGGG-FSI is seeking an organized Fund Accountant in the Greater Vancouver Area (BC) to support NAVPU calculations for client portfolios. Reporting to the Manager, Fund Accounting, you will collaborate across locations and help deliver high-quality service to clients.

The role emphasizes accuracy, process improvement, and client communication, with a flexible hybrid work model and opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Clear and fluent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Strong client service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the accounting records of client portfolios (trades, expenses, accruals, etc.).
• Produce a daily, weekly, or monthly net asset values for each client in an accurate and timely manner.
• Prepare draft financial statements, audit information packages and tax returns for clients.
• Develop a professional and productive relationship with clients and SGGG-FSI staff.
• Work to continually improve the processes associated with your assigned functions.
• Keep management informed of any and all issues that could have a Client impact.
