Job summary

SGGG Fund Services Inc. in Canada seeks an organized Fund Accountant to join our BC team. Reporting to the Manager, Fund Accounting, you will ensure accurate NAVPU calculations for assigned client portfolios and contribute to delivering high-quality client service.

You will collaborate across locations, own deliverables, and strive to exceed client expectations while supporting continuous process improvements and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Clear and fluent communication (written and verbal).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the accounting records of client portfolios (trades, expenses, accruals, etc.).
• Produce daily, weekly, or monthly net asset values for each client accurately and timely.
• Prepare draft financial statements, audit information packages and tax returns for clients.
• Develop professional relationships with clients and SGGG-FSI staff.
• Work to continually improve the processes associated with your functions.
• Keep management informed of issues that could impact clients.
