COFOMO is seeking an experienced Functional Architecture Advisor in Quebec City. The role focuses on leading application architecture from design through production, ensuring alignment with standards, and guiding the integration of business, data, and technology components.

You will model architectures, assess risks and costs, and support development teams to deliver compliant, high-quality solutions within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or recognized equivalence.
• At least 8 years in information technology including 8 years in functional architecture.
• 500 person-days in functional architecture in last 5 years.
• 200 person-days in functional architecture within a project of at least 2,000 person-days in IT.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership for application solutions from design to production and maintenance.
• Design and integrate components of solutions across business, data, and technology layers.
• Ensure solutions align with overall architecture and IT standards.
• Model and document functional architectures and assess costs/benefits of new solutions.
• Offer consulting in business case studies and strategic work related to architecture.
• Support development teams to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance of deliverables.
• Collaborate with team leads on planning, issue identification, and remediation.
• Contribute to Agile practices, including Macroscope or Green Guide methodologies.
