Job summary

Thrifty-Foods in Victoria, BC is seeking a front-end supervisor to deliver exceptional customer service at all times and support the front-end manager in daily operations.

You will resolve cash register issues, secure cash registers, apply company policies, train and motivate staff, and maintain a work environment built on trust and open communication. You’ll also perform POS accounting tasks and related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is an asset.
• At least six months of cashier experience.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems.
• Customer-service oriented.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Proficient in basic accounting operations.
• Interpersonal skills and energy.
• Flexible hours and overtime.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 20 kg.
