Job summary

Thrifty Foods in Sidney is seeking a Front-End Supervisor to deliver exceptional customer service and support a smooth front-end operation.

In the absence of the Front-End Manager you will resolve cash register issues, secure cash in the safe, and supervise cash handling with accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 6 months of cashier experience.
• Knowledge of point-of-sale systems.
• Customer-service oriented with strong communication.
• Ability to manage cash operations and basic accounting.
• Energetic, interpersonal, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer service is exceptional.
• Apply policies, health and safety standards, and ensure they are followed by all staff.

Here’swhereyou’llbe focusing:

• Ensure that customer service is exceptional.
• Apply policies and procedures,comply withgovernment health guidelines and occupational health and safety standards, and ensure they are consistently applied and adhered to by all department employees.
• Act as a resource person for team members.
• Create a work environment that promotes trust and communication within your team.
• Perform various cash register accounting operations (money transfers, deposits, checks, weekly audits, etc.) in collaboration with the front-end manager.
• Perform any other related duties.

What you have to offer:

• A high school diploma isa valuable asset.
• You have at least six months of experience as a cashier.
• You have valuable management experience and knowledge of point-of-sale computer systems.
• You are customerservice-oriented.
