Job summary

Thrifty-Foods is seeking an front-end supervisor to uphold exceptional customer service and oversee front-end operations. You will resolve cash register issues and secure the cash in the safe in the manager's absence.

You’ll lead a team, apply health and safety guidelines, and coordinate cash handling tasks with the front-end manager while fostering trust and clear communication on the floor.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is a valuable asset.
• You have at least six months of experience as a cashier.
• You have valuable management experience and knowledge of point-of-sale computer systems.
• You are customer service oriented.
• You foster communication and team spirit.
• You are proficient with basic accounting operations.
• You are known for your interpersonal skills and energy.
• Flexible work hours and ability to work overtime.
• Short-term exposure to chemicals and cleaning products.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 20kg
