Zusammenfassung

Thrifty-Foods is seeking a front-end supervisor to deliver exceptional customer service and support cash register operations on a busy retail floor. In the absence of the front-end manager, you will resolve register issues and ensure cash handling and safety procedures are followed.

You will lead a team, promote open communication, and uphold health and safety policies while performing routine audits and related duties as needed.

Qualifikationen

• A high school diploma is a valuable asset.
• Six months or more of cashier experience is required.
• Knowledge of point-of-sale computer systems is expected.
• Customer service orientation is essential.
• Ability to foster communication and team spirit.
• Proficiency in basic accounting operations is preferred.
• You should have strong interpersonal skills and energy.
• Flexible with work hours and able to work overtime.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.

Here’swhereyou’llbe focusing:

• Ensure that customer service is exceptional.
• Apply policies and procedures, comply with government health guidelines and occupational health and safety standards, and ensure they are consistently applied and adhered to by all department employees.
• Act as a resource person for team members.
• Create a work environment that promotes trust and communication within your team.
• Perform various cash register accounting operations (money transfers, deposits, checks, weekly audits, etc.) in collaboration with the front-end manager.
• Perform any other related duties.

What you have to offer:

• A high school diploma isa valuable asset.
• You have at least six months of experience as a cashier.
• You have valuable management experience and knowledge of point-of-sale computer systems.
