Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant for our Indian Head, Saskatchewan location. You will support pharmacists and staff in delivering quality patient care, greet customers, and assist with prescriptions and daily operations in a friendly, team-oriented setting.

Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset; knowledge of Kroll and accurate data entry are valued. Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays are required; strong communication and organization

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to thrive in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to stand for long periods and occasional lifting of boxes/containers.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care
Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional manner
Enter, label, and package prescriptions under supervision
Count, measure, and package medications per protocols
Receive and stock shipments and monitor inventory levels
Keep the pharmacy area clean and dispose of expired medications safely
Perform clerical tasks and assist with insurance claims and transfers
Assist with daily pharmacy operations and other duties as assigned
