Qualifications

• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Kroll data entry knowledge is an asset.
• Pharmacy assistant program is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

• Able to stand long periods; occasional lifting.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care.
• Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional manner.
• Assist with entering, labelling, and packaging prescriptions under supervision.
• Accurately count, measure, and package medications according to protocols.
• Receive and stock medication and supply shipments; monitor inventory.
• Keep the pharmacy area clean and dispose of waste per regulations.
• Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning; assist with claims and transfers.
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and other duties as assigned.
