Job summary

Chick-fil-A Appleby Crossing is seeking a Shift Leader to guide a high-performing team in delivering hospitality and food quality daily. You will set an example, solve problems, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

You will lead by example, work through the drive-thru in all weather, and ensure top customer service while maintaining standards and training. Ready to grow with a locally owned Chick-fil-A location in Burlington?

Qualifications

• Full-time, open availability required.
• Able to work Monday–Saturday 9am–12am.
• Hospitality or food service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an exceptionally clean, safe, and sanitary work environment.
• Work outside in a drive-thru (year round).
• Use POS software to take orders.
• Demonstrate exceptional hospitality to guests.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with team, guests, and third parties.
• Adhere to training standards within the restaurant.
• Manage breaks.
• Complete daily checklists.
• Support team with punctuality, reliability, and consistency on every shift.
• Count drawers and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Show willingness to learn.
• Train and coach team members.
• Attend leadership meetings.
• Respond to guest inquiries.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

As a shift leader at Chick-fil-A Appleby Crossing, you will lead a high performing team in accomplishing our hospitality and food quality goals on a daily basis. You will be setting the example for your team to follow. We are looking for people who feel comfortable making independent decisions and problem solving in a complex and high pressure environment.

Role Responsibilities

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following:

• Show support to your team by being punctual, reliable, and consistent in every shift.

• Front of House Shift Leaders will count drawers and ensure cash management procedures are being followed.

• Demonstrate a willingness learn.

• Train and coach team members.

• Attend leadership meetings.

• Respond to guest inquiries.

• Perform additional work duties as assigned by leadership to support business needs.

• Possess the ability to work in a high demand environment while maintaining all above standards.
