Job summary

The Root Cellar Village Green Grocer at McKenzie Corner in Victoria, BC is seeking a Coffee Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the Coffee Project, ensure product quality and availability, and uphold customer service standards.

You will merchandise coffee products, train and lead staff, monitor loss and cash handling, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to beverage and bakery offerings, with full-time hours including early mornings, afternoons, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisor and coffee service experience.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand for long periods, work in a cool environment, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Ability to lead a team.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Willing and available to work full time, 40 hours weekly, including early mornings, afternoons and weekends.

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a Coffee Supervisor to join our Root Cellar team!
