Job summary

WB Melback Corporation is seeking an experienced Human Resource Specialist to support the HR Team in full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and training. You will manage the employee lifecycle, source candidates, conduct interviews, and maintain files with strict confidentiality. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in HR, Business Administration or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• CHRP designation or working towards is considered an asset.
• Experience in a unionized environment is preferred.
• Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset.
• Related experience in talent acquisition and HR functions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full employee life cycle from onboarding to off-boarding.
• Source and attract candidates using latest recruitment tools and strategies.
• Recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of employees.
• Prepare job postings, resume screenings, and interview candidates.
• Maintain and update employee files with accuracy.
• Handle high volume of candidates on a national level.
• Maintain confidentiality with sensitive documents and information.
• Travel may be required with this position.
