Job summary

ENTREC Alberta, part of LaPrairie Group of Companies, is recruiting a full-time Accounts Payable Administrator for Grande Prairie, AB or Calgary. The role covers full-cycle AP duties, vendor communications, and intercompany invoicing in a dynamic, team-based environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of AP experience, strong Excel skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting month-end deadlines. On-site work with collaborative cross-unit teamwork is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Degree, diploma or certification related to accounting is an asset.
• Proficient in MS Office and learning new software quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting with vendors daily and working in a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Complete full-cycle accounts payable duties including PO/invoice review and coding.
• Process payments via cheque, EFT, or ACH and reconcile vendor statements.
• Enter fuel invoices and intercompany invoices with accurate coding.
• Coordinate cheque runs and communicate with vendors and field personnel.
• Assist with month-end close and accruals, maintain filing systems.
• Ensure vendor data accuracy and perform account reconciliations.
• Handle accounts receivable duties for Northland Fleet as assigned.
