Job summary

FedEx Canada in Mississauga is seeking a frontline supervisor to lead day-to-day sort operations and supervise Cargo Handlers at the station. You will mentor staff, ensure safe, compliant handling and timely routing, and address service issues with urgency.

This temporary full-time assignment runs 4am–1pm, Fri–Tues, with Wed and Thu off, for a peak period, with potential extension based on business needs.

Qualifications

• College degree is required.
• 2 years FedEx sort operations or senior hourly role experience, OR 2 years supervisory experience.
• Must possess valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• DG certification/training completed or in progress (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide employees in package handling, routing and recovery of service failures.
• Oversee Cargo Handlers functions and direct daily work activities.
• Mentor, coach and train staff while ensuring FXE policies and government regulations compliance.
