Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking an interview-positioned frontline supervisor to support the FXE Safety Above All Culture and manage station sort operations and Cargo Handlers. You will lead, mentor, and coach staff, guiding daily work and ensuring compliance with policies and government regulations.

Qualifications

• College degree
• 2 years FedEx sort operations or senior level hourly role experience OR
• 2 years supervisory experience in related industry
• Must possess valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• EXCEL Leadership Development Stream (Preferred)
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency training (including completing and maintaining DG certification
• Ability to mentor, coach, and act as a knowledge resource to other employees
• Ability to inspire a shared vision and empower and motivate a team
• Ability to prioritize and delegate in a time-sensitive manner
• Addresses and resolves conflict management
• Communicates with others in a clear, concise, and timely manner. Listens and responds with empathy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide employees in proper package handling, routing and recovery of potential service failures within the station sort function.
• Oversee CH functions and direction of work activities, mentoring/coaching/training to ensure compliance with FXE policies and procedures and government regulations.
• Support day-to-day sort operations and assigned Cargo Handlers staff within a station.
• Ensure administrative processes are compliant with FXE policies and government regulations.
• Provide leadership to the team to maintain safety, quality and efficiency during shifts.
