Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Kenora, Ontario, is seeking a Front Store Manager to lead the non-pharmacy retail operations, oversee staff and ensure excellent customer service across cosmetics and front-store departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of retail management experience.
• Ability to drive the business and support corporate programs.
• Strong interpersonal, coaching and communication skills.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Excellent relationship building with internal and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store standards to optimize customer experience and profitability.
• Work with Management Team to ensure Store Standards are in effect 100% of the time, including the backroom.
• Manage labour scheduling and leverage WFM to maximize labour productivity.
• Ensure staffing levels are adequate to effectively operate the business.
• Hire and/or support hiring for all departments excluding Pharmacy.
• Analyse financial reports and meet targets; develop and execute strategies to improve store efficiency.
