Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Front Store Manager to lead all Front Store operations (excluding Pharmacy) and drive exceptional customer service.

You will manage staff, scheduling, and standards to meet store profitability targets while modeling our core values. You will partner with the management team, oversee HR processes for non-pharmacy departments, and analyze financial reports to set departmental goals and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail management experience.
• Proven ability to drive business and lead by example.
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.
• Ability to manage staffing and labour costs.
• Knowledge of store operations and customer service standards.
• Understanding HR processes and performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Store Standards to optimize customer experience and profitability.
• Collaborates with Management to enforce Store Standards across departments.
• Manages labour scheduling using WFM to maximize productivity.
• Ensures staffing levels are adequate for daily operations.
• Oversees HR processes for non-pharmacy staff and performance reviews.
• Drives culture and staff engagement through coaching and mentorship.
• Analyzes financial reports and meets targets; sets departmental goals.
• Develops and executes strategies to improve store efficiency.
