Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Central Saanich is seeking an experienced retail leader to assist the Front Store Manager in guiding the store team. You’ll help manage human, physical and financial resources and focus on improving product flow from backroom to the sales floor to meet store objectives.

Key duties include coordinating operations, scheduling staff using WFM, maintaining store standards, hiring support for departments (excluding Pharmacy), coaching colleagues and driving the company’s values.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of retail teams.
• Strong planning and organization skills.
• Able to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
• Experience mentoring and coaching staff.
• Effective communication with management and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store standards to optimize customer experience and profitability.
• Assist FSM with staffing, scheduling and backroom to sales floor flow.
• Coordinate labour scheduling and utilize WFM to maximize productivity.
• Help hire and develop staff for all departments except Pharmacy.
• Drive Blue Culture and staff engagement through core values.
