Job summary

Silver Hotel Group is seeking a Front Office Manager for Fairfield Inn & Suites Ottawa Kanata to elevate daily front desk operations and guest service. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee front desk, guest services, and nightly operations, driving revenue opportunities and ensuring brand standards.

You will recruit and develop the Front Desk team, manage scheduling and budgets, and partner with housekeeping and sales to deliver exceptional experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years front desk supervisor or manager experience.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Organized, results oriented with solid time management.
• Experience with revenue management is an asset.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences with prompt, professional service and effective resolution of complaints.
• Maximize hotel revenue, occupancy, and RevPAR through front office management.
• Oversee daily front desk operations, ensure policy compliance, cash handling and financial controls.
• Recruit, train, supervise, motivate, and develop Front Desk and Guest Services staff.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, sales, F&B, accounting, maintenance and other departments.
• Monitor front office reports, guest accounts, and operational records to ensure accuracy.
