Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a Front Desk Attendant to be the first point of contact for clients and associates. You will provide hospitality reception services in our camp, coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance, and ensure accurate resident data and room readiness.

This role requires 2+ years of customer service, a hospitality diploma is an asset, and experience with a POS system. You will handle cash transactions, daily reporting, and other administrative duties, with shift of 10

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service and reception experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Diploma in hospitality and hotel management is an asset.
  • Exceptional customer service attitude and experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Retail experience using point of sale system.
  • Proven time-management and organization skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous remote camp work in Food & Support Services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hospitality reception services to the camp residents.
  • Coordinate with other camp departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure all rooms are clean and well maintained.
  • Ensure data stored in the system is current with respect to resident information, resident requests, room availability, check in/checkout information, as well as housekeeping/maintenance work orders.
  • Perform sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion. Enter sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
  • Make change, accept acceptable forms of payment and issue receipts to customers. Follow standard procedures for cash handling
  • Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that the cash drawer follows overage/shortage standards
  • Complete daily and period reporting for management and clients.
  • Perform other administrative duties and functions as required.
