Job summary

Summit Camps is recruiting for workforce camp-based positions. Housekeepers will clean guest rooms and all camp common areas and handle laundry, with a demanding schedule in a remote camp setting.

Travel is covered from your designated point of departure, and wages start at $18/hour with overtime opportunities. Ideal candidates will have basic first aid, camp or hotel housekeeping experience, and the ability to work in isolated conditions for up to 4 weeks with a 2-week break.

Qualifications

• Basic First Aid certification is required.
• Experience in housekeeping in a camp or hotel is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test prior to employment and live in a drug- and alcohol-free camp environment for up to 4 weeks at a time.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work procedures and report hazards immediately.
• Perform daily housekeeping in sleeping quarters and public areas.
• Wash, fold, and store housekeeping laundry (towels, sheets, blankets, etc.).
• Change garbage and recycling bins daily.
• Keep storage areas and cleaning supplies organized and stocked.
• Report maintenance or supply issues to supervisor promptly.

Primary Role:

Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning guest rooms and all common areas of camp as well as doing laundry.

Qualifications
