Job details
Front Desk Agent

Location: 2512 Yukon Street, Vancouver, BC V5Y 0H2

Work setting: Help desk, Cruise ship

Salary: $17.40 to $19.50 per hour, 84 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time, Overtime, Starts as soon as possible, 16 vacancies

Responsibilities
  • Investigate complaints and claims
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Resolve complaints and claims
  • Process group arrivals and departures
  • Manage room reservations
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and local points of interest
  • Handle guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
  • Maintain reservations and room inventory
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures
  • Perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, photocopying
  • Answer and relay telephone messages
  • Assist guests with special needs
  • Deliver wakeup calls
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide customer service and perform front desk duties
Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 to 5 years of experience
  • Languages: English
