We are hiring a Front Desk Agent!

OUR ROLE
We seek warm, friendly, courteous, and professional Front Desk Agents. As the hub of the hotel, your role is crucial to guest experience. Your proactive, responsive, and caring approach will make a significant difference. If you enjoy engaging with others, possess a winning personality, and have a high sense of responsibility, we want to meet you!

Key Responsibilities include

  1. Providing the highest quality service to guests and colleagues, setting an example for the team.
  2. Handling guest issues and requests promptly and effectively.
  3. Checking guests in and out efficiently and courteously.
  4. Posting guest charges, computing bills, collecting payments, and making change following all cash handling procedures.
  5. Managing guest mail and messages as per established procedures.
  6. Being knowledgeable about Marriott Bonvoy rewards program and promotions.
  7. Developing knowledge of hotel amenities, room locations, rates, and selling strategies.
  8. Taking reservation requests efficiently.
  9. Answering switchboard calls with proper etiquette.
  10. Blocking rooms and handling special requests.
  11. Managing safe deposit boxes per procedures.
  12. Keeping lobby and desk area clean and presentable.
  13. Handling wake-up call requests appropriately.
  14. Opening and closing shifts, including cash drops.
  15. Communicating pertinent information to staff and management via logs.
  16. Understanding emergency procedures thoroughly.
  17. Fostering teamwork and collaboration.
  18. Following safety and security policies, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions.

YOUR PROFILE

  1. Experience in customer service within hospitality or similar-sized hotel.
  2. Hospitality or Tourism degree or equivalent.
  3. Reliable, punctual, with an approachable demeanor and strong safety commitment.
  4. Dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences and problem-solving.
  5. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Excellent communicator, team player.
  7. Flexible to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  8. Physically capable of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting objects up to 40 pounds or more.
