Job summary

Hotel Arts Group is seeking an energetic guest service professional to ensure exceptional stays for guests at the Front Desk in Calgary. Ideal candidates should have a strong commitment to service, flexibility in scheduling, and relevant experience in hospitality operations. This full-time role includes various responsibilities related to guest reservations, communications, and cash handling.

Qualifications

  • 12 Years of experience in Front Office Operations or related fields preferred.
  • Flexible schedule is essential, including availability for evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Attend to guest concerns proactively and ensure a satisfactory stay.
  • Maintain and balance a cash float during shifts.
  • Provide services including check-in/out and answering inquiries.

Job description

Hotel Arts is currently seeking energetic and passionate guest service professionals to join our Front DeskTeam! Are you ready to spoil our guests and ensure that they have not only a pleasant but exceptional stay in Calgary Join our team today!

  • Job Type : Full time
  • Schedule : Flexible schedule is be available to work weekdays eveningsweekends and holidays.
  • Wage : Starting at $19.00 / hour

Members of our Front Desk Team can look forward to performing the following tasks :

  • Attend to all concerns of the guest proactively and professionally.
  • Ensure the satisfaction of all guests with a consistent positive attitude.
  • Review all guest reservations to ensure accuracy.
  • Review group resumes and follow up accordingly on any actionable items.
  • Ensure rates and account folios are set up and managed correctly.
  • Communicate key information to appropriate departments and colleagues.
  • Ensure special requests by guests are completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and balance a cash float during each shift.
  • Provide services to guests including : check in / out telephone inquiries luggage handling and taking reservations.
  • Provide guests with the information they require.
  • Answer questions pertaining to events / activities and provide directions regarding their destination.

Our ideal candidate will have :

  • Flexible schedule is essential. Evenings Weekend Holiday and overnight are be required.
  • 12 Years Experience in Front Office Operations Housekeeping or Rooms preferred.
  • Knowledge in Opera or other Property Management Systems a strong asset.
  • Degree / Diploma in Hospitality Management an asset.
  • Microsoft Office product knowledge required.
  • Positive professional motivating personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Passionate about guest service andhospitality
  • Position may be subject to a criminal background check.
