Job summary

Fountain Tire Calgary Westbrook (911 - 37 Street SW) is seeking a friendly Front Counter Representative for a seasonal Sep–Dec assignment. You will create work orders, quote services, and communicate with technicians while delivering outstanding customer service.

This position includes training, support from a strong team, and regular daytime shifts with employee discounts on tires and services. Prior automotive or tire industry experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive repair industry or tire industry is an asset.
• Effective listening skills with the ability to identify customer needs and provide recommendations.
• Working knowledge of passenger, light truck and, specialty tires and mechanical services.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
• Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must; a team player.
• Able to work as part of a team and take pride in your work.

Responsibilities

• Create work orders and arrange bookings and communicate them to the technicians.
• Provide service quotes and obtain customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up.
• Provide proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction level with the service they have received.
• Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customers.
• Ensure that all products are billed accurately to the customer and process all necessary information in the computer system.
• Keep promotional material updated in the showroom.
• Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire including customers and staff, on the road, site or field.
• Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhering to standards and policies as described in learning modules.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
