Job summary

Fountain Tire Calgary (Westbrook) is seeking responsible and motivated Automotive Tire Technicians to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. You will install, balance, rotate, and repair tires, service TPMS, and contribute to a safe, customer-focused shop floor.

Qualifications

• Previous Tire Technician experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of passenger and light truck tires and wheels is an asset.
• Customer-service focus and ability to relate well with customers.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to provide a Driver’s Abstract.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair tires and wheels.
• Reset and repair TPMS when needed.
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regular schedule.
• Perform specialty tire work (studding, retread, run flat, etc.).
• Assist with inventory and safety on the shop floor.

Overview

Fountain Tire Calgary (Westbrook), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for responsible and motivated individuals to join our team as Automotive Tire Technicians!

You will be responsible for:

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Previous experience as a Tire Technician in an automotive shop is an asset
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
