Job summary

Fountain Tire Calgary (Moraine Road) is seeking a responsible Automotive Tire Technician to join our team. You will install, balance, rotate, and repair tires on passenger and light trucks, maintain TPMS, and help keep equipment in top condition.

Qualifications

• Experience with passenger and light truck tires preferred; willing to train motivated individuals.
• Customer-service focus with ability to develop relationships with customers and team.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Driver’s Abstract required.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory tasks.
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair tires on passenger and light truck vehicles.
• Reset and repair TPMS (tire pressure monitoring systems).
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regular schedule.
• Complete specialty tire work (studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.).
• Assist in inventory management and annual counts.
• Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and teammates.

Fountain Tire Calgary (Moraine Road), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as an Automotive Tire Technician!

You will be responsible for

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Someone with previous experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
