Job summary

Indigo is seeking a French Translator to support English-to-French content across retail marketing and corporate communications. The role focuses on delivering accurate, brand-aligned translations for in-store signage, emails, packaging, and campaigns, while preserving tone and voice for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities include translating, reviewing, and proofreading materials, ensuring client satisfaction, and leveraging technology to enhance Indigo's customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in translation, 1-3+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of experience and edu

Responsibilities

• Translate and adapt English-to-French retail marketing content, including in-store signage, emails, packaging, promotional campaigns, product descriptions, and contest rules
• Translate and adapt corporate content, including internal and store communications, ensuring clear, accurate, and consistent messaging for diverse audiences
• Review, proofread and correct a wide range of materials to ensure that they are accurate for the French-Canadian audience
• Ensure client and audience satisfaction
• Possess the ability to capture corporate voice and tone in translations
• Deliver quality content in an efficient and timely manner
• Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all decision-making and design processes
• Proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs
• Embrace and seek out technology that creates high-tech and high-touch solutions for Indigo's customers
• Challenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues and working to resolve them
