Job summary

SDI, Inc. is seeking a bilingual (French) Supplier Performance Specialist to drive supplier compliance in OTD, order confirmation, and ASN processes. You will analyze performance data, coach suppliers, and coordinate with Purchasing and Parts teams to schedule maintenance work orders.

You will review data, implement improvement plans, and track progress while maintaining strong cross-functional communications. Some holiday/weekend coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5 years of experience in procurement or supplier performance.
• Proficient Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivots) and ERP software knowledge.
• Self-motivated with urgent follow-up and accuracy on first pass.

Responsibilities

• Review supplier compliance data and factors impacting operations.
• Implement performance improvement plans to achieve compliance.
• Conduct supplier meetings to explain OTD, order confirmation, and ASN.
• Serve as first point of contact for supplier questions on performance.
• Track progress of performance improvements over time.
• Perform root cause analysis on issues affecting compliance.
• Coordinate between suppliers and Purchasing/Parts teams.
• Assist re-sourcing for backordered items with suppliers.
• Escalate match-exception processes to ensure responsiveness.
• Maintain cross-functional communications via meetings and email.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for the department.
• Occasional holiday and weekend coverage required.
