AAA Canada Inc. is seeking a Supplier Performance Agent to lead supplier visits, analyze capabilities, and drive performance improvements across multiple aerospace suppliers.

The role emphasizes PO alignment, process improvements, and close collaboration with Purchasing, Quality, and Operations to ensure uninterrupted production. Ideal candidates hold a relevant bachelor's degree and bring at least 10 years of supplier management experience, with strong autonomy and the ability to travel up to

Competenze

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, industrial engineering, operations management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in supplier performance or related roles.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time and manage multi-site responsibilities.

Job Description
  • Lead visits to key suppliers to analyze performance issues and coordinate improvement strategies, notably purchase order (PO) alignment, process improvement, and quality system enhancement.
  • Accelerate the processing of all critical parts at critical suppliers to eliminate all bottlenecks and ensure no interruption in the production chain.
  • Work with the supplier to establish a PO return-to-compliance plan using harmonized lines of balance and ensure daily follow-up.
  • Align with all key internal stakeholders and prepare a clear mandate for supplier intervention, regularly follow up on the mandate, and ensure a smooth transition.
  • Identify supplier improvement and risk reduction opportunities among key suppliers and manage these improvement activities.
  • Drive the execution of supplier performance improvement plans and collaborate with internal and external partners to seek solutions and successfully execute action plans.
  • Work closely with stakeholders in Purchasing, Quality, and Operations to create supplier development plans focused on supplier quality, delivery, capacity, and process capability.
  • Regularly provide all relevant stakeholders with information on the progress of supplier support through [reports/updates].
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external groups and ensure appropriate issue escalation.
  • Perform a very thorough on-site assessment of supplier capacity and skills and establish a clear action plan to correct all gaps.
  • Coordinate your own business travel by making reservations, follow-ups, expense reimbursement requests, and financial verifications.
Profile Sought
  • You hold a bachelor's degree in administration, industrial engineering, operations management, or equivalent experience.
  • You possess a minimum of ten (10) years of experience.
  • You must be willing to travel up to 70% of the time.
  • You possess solid knowledge and experience in manufacturing and production.
  • You have experience with lower-tier suppliers (subcontractors).
  • You are extremely autonomous and able to work with new suppliers with minimal information.
  • You have experience in planning and coordinating projects involving multiple sectors.
  • Your computer skills in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word are at an expert level.
  • You are able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize them.
  • You have a strong sense of ethics and are customer-focused.
  • You possess good analytical, planning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of operational and financial management is an asset.
