Position Overview

Welcome to the world of maintenance, repairs and operations (MRO) purchasing! As a buyer, you will be one of our key leaders in ensuring our clients get the parts and materials they need. This position is based in Quebec, Canada. Only candidates local to the area will be considered. Native-level fluency in French is required for this role.

A Typical Day In The Life Of a Buyer
  • Manage and own MRO purchasing from starting with requisition and ending with receipt for specific clients.
  • Handle transaction negotiations directly with clients offering top-notch customer service all while within timeline of preferred supplier strategy.
  • Develop and drive countermeasures for underperforming key processes and/or material suppliers.
  • Maintain transaction service metrics in an inbound call center environment.
  • Review and handle all invoice exceptions associated with purchasing and the expediting of open orders.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, suppliers, and other involved departments to resolve purchasing related issues and offer resolutions.
  • Proactively communicate with suppliers when delivery dates are approaching and with field team relative to tracking orders, shipments, troubleshooting, and responding to all other questions.
  • Potential traveling to customer sites may be required for training, meetings, or any other team support.

Pay Range

The pay range for this role is CAD $51,000 - $79,000 annually. Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience and skills, and location. Pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the pay range applicable at the time.
