Job summary

PeopleFind is recruiting a Procurement Specialist to coordinate purchasing for our retail stores, Head Office and Distribution Centre in the Montreal area. This on-site role reports to the Director of Procurement, Construction and Maintenance and focuses on supplier negotiations, inventory control and timely replenishment.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of purchasing experience, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

• At least two years of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience with inventory management and replenishment.
• Experience sourcing and evaluating suppliers.
• Exposure to multi-location, retail or distribution environments is a plus.
• Fluency in English and French is required.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate product pricing, terms and service with current and prospective suppliers.
• Identify alternative suppliers and source for high-volume needs.
• Maintain supplier, product and costing data within company systems.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate replenishment to avoid stockouts.
• Support stores and head office by responding to routine supply requests.
• Prepare monthly reports on negotiated purchases and inventory position.
• Assist in improving purchasing processes and controls.
