Job summary

North American Powertrain Components is seeking a dependable Logistics Coordinator to coordinate workflow, maintain accuracy, and keep product moving in a fast-paced environment. This in-person role requires hands-on coordination of incoming and outgoing freight and related documentation.

You will prepare border-crossing invoices, verify invoices and approvals, and follow up on outstanding freight invoices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of freight coordination work or office administrative work in freight coordination.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are a must.
• Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication is a must.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and material-handling practices
• Computer proficiency with inventory/shipping systems
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Arrange daily incoming and outgoing freight
• Prepare outgoing Commercial/Proforma Invoices for border crossing
• Verify all shipping invoices have proper documentation, appropriate approvals, and are entered into the company database to ensure monthly timeline requirements
• Follow up regularly on all outstanding freight invoices
• Follow up with LTL carriers and internal sales staff for any invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist in data entry in multiple deparments
