Cole International in Calgary is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage freight shipments for a diverse client base. You will coordinate transportation, prepare quotes, and ensure timely delivery across North America and beyond.

You will work closely with clients and carriers, handling documentation, tracking shipments, resolving issues, and supporting colleagues in a fast-paced environment. This role offers professional growth within a leader in the logistics industry.

Qualifications

• CIFFA certification or equivalent training.
• Strong verbal and written communication with clients and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate freight shipments across North America and internationally, using various modes of transport.
• Provide rate quotations, negotiate with carriers, and book transportation for clients.
• Generate and manage shipment documentation such as work orders, invoices, and bills of lading.
• Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery, updating clients on their shipment status.
• Resolve issues such as missing documentation or lost freight, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Interact with clients and vendors via phone, email, and occasionally face-to-face meetings.
• Audit and approve vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policy.
• Support colleagues with operational tasks and provide guidance as needed.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through courses, seminars, and webinars.
