Job summary

Interpro Pipe & Steel Inc. is seeking a Finance professional to support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. You will consolidate forecasts, manage cash flow, and prepare reporting packages for stakeholders, partnering with operations to drive profitability.

The role requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance, 2+ years of leadership, and strong Excel/Oracle skills. IFRS knowledge and a manufacturing background are a plus; join a growing team committed to excellence.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Professional accounting designation, preferred 5 years of related experience, preference given to candidates with experience in the manufacturing industry and/or cost accounting background
  • Minimum 2 years prior management experience with a proven ability to lead teams and effectively work through others
  • Proficient with Oracle; Hyperion cloud-based solutions preferred
  • Motivated self-starter with strong analytical, financial, systems and problem-solving skills which support and enable sound decision making
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are mandatory
  • Exposure to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) reporting would be beneficial
  • Excellent skills in MS Office Suite with advanced or Expert level skillset in Excel
  • Knowledge of and experience with financial modelling/valuation

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation and consolidation of monthly forecasts and yearly budget
  • Responsible for monthly rolling cash flow forecasting
  • Assist with preparation of monthly reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support operational and commercial decisions by investigating cost/margin issues and providing in-depth analysis
  • Develop and maintain financial models for complex investment cases
  • Develop financial models depicting key financial and operational relationships
  • Analyze financial results and KPIs, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve business performance
  • Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses, business cases, and management presentations as required
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing financial reporting processes, forecasting accuracy, and analytical tools.
