Job summary

Great Little Box Company in Edmonton is seeking an energetic Forklift Driver for our morning shift. You will pick and stage orders, load/unload trucks, and operate an electric sit-down counterbalance forklift safely on site at 5219 47 St NW.

The role requires 3-5 years forklift experience and a current forklift certificate (class 1, 4, 5). High-reach certification and first aid are assets. We value teamwork, safety, and reliability in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Current forklift certificate class 1, 4, 5 is required.
• 3-5 years of forklift experience is required.
• Certification with high-reach forklift is an asset.
• Intermediate first aid is an asset.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform moderate physical exertion.
• Able to multi-task and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick and stage orders in the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Operate an electric sit-down counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Use barcode system to locate product in the warehouse.
• Unload production lines and put away product in the warehouse as required.
• Ensure equipment is operating properly and report problems.
• Count inventory as required.
• Follow all safety procedures while operating a forklift.
• Occasional outdoor sorting of pallets and movement to production.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as required.

Job description

We are looking to welcome an energetic self-starter, mechanically inclined and detail-oriented Forklift Driver to join our Edmonton Shipping Team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and embraces our Continuous Improvement working culture. We are hiring at our Edmonton location at 5219 47 St NW on the morning shift (Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM).

Compensation

The typical hiring range for this position is $20.50-22.50/hour
