Job summary

Great Little Box Company in Richmond, BC is hiring a Forklift Driver for Mitchell Island location (11300 Twigg Place), morning shift 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday–Friday. Compensation ranges from $20.50 to $23.00 per hour, with monthly profit sharing and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include picking and staging orders, loading/unloading, operating an electric sit-down counterbalance forklift, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Current forklift certificate class 1, 4, 5 required.
• 3-5 years of forklift experience required.
• Certification with high-reach forklift is considered an asset.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work well with people in a team environment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, as this position requires lifting, bending, and moderate physical exertion.
• Ability to multi-task.
• A positive 'can do' attitude.

• Use barcode system to locate product in the warehouse
• Unload production lines and put away product in the warehouse as required
• Ensure all equipment is operating properly and inform appropriate personnel of any problems
• Count inventory as required
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating a forklift
• Comfortable working outside from time to time sorting pallets and bringing pallets to production
• Other general warehouse duties as required

Compensation
