Techo-Bloc is seeking a Production Forklift Driver for night shifts to keep the production line moving safely and efficiently in an outdoor environment. You will operate propane or electric sit-down forklifts, move finished goods to storage, inspect equipment, and report issues while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of sit-down forklift experience, a valid forklift card or be willing to renew, and a strong commitment to health and safety.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator competency card (or ready to renew).
• Minimum 1 year experience as a sit-down forklift operator.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Great attendance and reliability.
• Resourcefulness and ability to work independently.
• Punctuality and professionalism.
• Strong commitment to following health & safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Follow all health & safety rules (seatbelt on at all times!).

Job Description

Pay & Schedule

Night shift: Monday to Thursday, 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM

$23.07 to $23.61/hour + 5$/hour Night shift premium

Your Role

As aProduction Forklift Driver, you’ll play a key role in keeping the production line moving smoothly and safely

You will:

• Operate a propane or electric sit-down forklift
• Move finished products to storage & transport materials as needed
• Inspect equipment and report mechanical issues
• Keep your work area and forklift clean and safe
• Follow all health & safety rules (seatbelt on at all times!)

• Stay alert to avoid incidents involving pedestrians, trucks, buildings, fixed equipment, and other machinery
• Work in an outdoor environment (as required)

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
