The City of Mississauga is seeking a project-focused Urban Forestry professional to coordinate planning, procurement, and delivery of capital programs for trees and vegetation on streets, parks, and City property. Responsible for coordinating the planning and delivery of various operational and capital programs and projects on streets, parks, and City property that protect, enhance, restore, expand and connect Mississauga's urban forest. This includes providing direction to contractors, functional guidance to team members, project management and/or contract management of tree maintenance, tree planting, and/or vegetation management activities.
