The City of Mississauga is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to lead park planning, design and development from pre-planning through construction. You will manage capital projects, collaborate with consulting teams, and bring creative ideas to advance parks and waterfront developments.
Responsibilities cover master plans, procurement, contract administration and inter-department coordination within Parks, Forestry & Environment.

The successful candidate will lead projects from pre-planning conceptual design through to construction completion. You will be responsible for a range of duties to be performed either in-house and /or with the assistance of Consulting Teams. A key focus of the position is to bring forward creative ideas to lead, manage and implement a variety of capital projects within the Parks, Forestry, and Environment Division. Projects range from park facility life-cycle redevelopments to design and development of the City's new iconic waterfront and downtown parks.
Under the direction of a Senior Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
