Job summary

Sysco (Canada) is seeking a results-driven sales professional to engage and onboard new customers, expand share of wallet, and manage orders across Phone, Email, and eCommerce channels. You will leverage Sysco 360 CRM for pipeline management and stay informed about market trends to deliver customer-centric solutions.

You will also participate in training programs to enhance consultative selling skills, handle credit/arrears as needed, and adapt to flexible hours including Sundays and holidays in

Qualifications

• Sales experience in food service or related industry preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Solid analytical problem-solving with data insights
• Proactive and self-directed with ability to plan weekly schedule
• Proficiency with MS Office and eCommerce concepts
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Flexible schedule including Sundays and holidays
• Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle

Responsibilities

• Articulate and demonstrate Sysco value proposition to onboard new customers
• Increase customer share of wallet and improve sales mix
• Use Sysco 360 CRM for customer relationship management and pipeline management
• Manage order channels including Phone, Email, and eCommerce (50%+ for eCommerce)
• Develop account portfolio and retain customers for profitable growth
• Resolve customer issues to ensure a positive experience
• Analyze market trends to develop customer-centric solutions
• Stay informed on market conditions, products and competitors
• Participate in training to sharpen consultative selling skills and product knowledge
• Manage credits and accounts receivable
• Hours may vary and may require additional hours
• Comply with Sysco Food Safety Policy and report hazards
• Commit to safety and report hazards
• Perform other duties as assigned
